Join us for a one-of-a-kind experience! Coming soon to Ohio nurses for the second time -- a unique new program with both didactic and “clinical” content that takes the mystery and fear out of public policy advocacy.

This course will provide nurse learners with:

Increased knowledge of legislative processes;
Enhanced ability to engage in legislative action at the Statehouse; and
More confidence when talking with legislators about policy matters.

Earn 12.5 (or more) contact hours through:

Five virtual sessions
One (or more) in-person, facilitated small group experience at the Ohio Statehouse on-site (5 contact hours for each additional visit, with 27.5 total contact hours possible at no extra charge)
Price includes one meal at the Statehouse

Statehouse visits will take place from 9:00am - 2:00pm (attend at least one):

Criteria for successful completion | To complete the 2026 Bootcamp and earn 12.5 contact hours, participants must:

Attend each of the four didactic virtual sessions, and
Attend at least one* of the four on-site Statehouse visits, and
Attend the final evaluation and report out session.

*Attendees may choose to attend additional Statehouse sessions at no additional cost and can earn five contact hours for each additional session attended.

Total maximum contact hours possible 27.5.

ANA-Ohio is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Cancellation Notice:

Allow for cancellations with 100% refund up to 30 days before the registration deadline.
Allow for cancellation with 50% refund 14-30 days before the registration deadline.
Any cancellation received within 14 days of the registration deadline will forfeit the entire registration fee.
Refunds after the date upon which the venue requires a headcount for food planning purposes, is strongly discouraged, since ANA-Ohio will likely have to pay for the food regardless.
Substitutions are permitted only upon receipt of written notice received 7 days or more prior to the event.
All requests for cancellation or substitutions must be received via email to director@ana-ohio.org.

Should the event be canceled by ANA-Ohio, all registration fees will be refunded in full.
