Description: In May 2024, pediatric heart center at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, underwent a major structural and staffing transformation, combining a 10-bed Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown Unit (CSDU) and a 12-bed Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU) into a single 12-bed hybrid unit. Initially, staff remained functionally separated by unit designation, resulting in rigid assignment patterns and significant challenges in daily staffing flexibility. Ms. Coleman will describe the intense education process that addressed learning needs of staff from both units. This project demonstrates how intentional cross-training not only improves nurse confidence and clinical competency but also reshapes unit culture and operations, unlocking new potential in hybrid cardiac care delivery. Nurses engaged in acute and critical care, professional development, and nursing management may benefit from attending this CE activity.

Refund Policy for ANA-Ohio
Effective Date: April 15, 2024
Thank you for your support of ANA-Ohio. This Refund Policy governs the refund of membership fees, event registration fees, or any other payments made to the Association. By becoming a member or registering for an event, you agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.
Membership Fees:
- All membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
- In the event of an overpayment or duplicate payment of membership fees, the Association will provide a refund for the excess amount upon request. Such requests must be submitted within 30 days of the overpayment.
Event Registration Fees:
- Event registration fees are refundable subject to the terms and conditions specified for each event.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Association's info@ana-ohio.org no later than 14 days before the scheduled start date of the event.
- Refunds will be issued minus any applicable processing fees or administrative charges.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the specified deadline or for no-shows.
Processing of Refunds:
- Refunds will be processed within 2-4 weeks of receiving a valid refund request.
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method or via a check.
- If the original method of payment is unavailable or expired, the Association may issue the refund via an alternative method, such as a check or electronic transfer.
Exceptions:
- The Association reserves the right to make exceptions to this Refund Policy on a case-by-case basis, at its sole discretion.
- Exceptions may be granted for extenuating circumstances, such as medical emergencies or unforeseen events beyond the control of the member or registrant.

By completing purchases with us you agree to have your Credit card and personal information securely stored as part of a payment profile within a 3rd party payment gateway. This securely stored payment profile will be used, when authorized, for automated recurring payments and will allow for easier and faster checkouts. No credit card information is stored within Member365 and all payment data is accessed by way of a secure API. Under no circumstances do we share credit card or personal details.
Who can access the ANA-Ohio Member Hub member portal?
Please note that the ANA-Ohio Member Hub member portal is to be used by members of ANA-Ohio Member Hub only. Certain workspaces within the member portal will be tailored for and restricted to certain membership types; access to these areas will be determined and approved by ANA-Ohio Member Hub staff. The Content that is displayed in your member portal will automatically vary based on your user / membership type.
What can be posted?
To ensure all interactions within the ANA-Ohio Member Hub member portal are safe and friendly, ANA-Ohio Member Hub staff will oversee the member portal activity and will review, edit, and delete any inappropriate content that has been submitted. This includes abusive or offensive language, spam, malicious files, or other disrespectful contact.
